MIISTA

Brand activation that explored themes of character building, making space, and progression, highlighted through a projection of a short dance film from Miista’s NYFW performance. The session expanded these concepts and the brand narrative beyond footwear, showcasing new apparel pieces, including a hoodie launched that week, worn by Martina Liendo to bring the piece to life and generate moving content.

Thirty-five attendees participated, including creatives, photographers, DJs, and figures from Barcelona’s cultural scene. They engaged with clothing through guided movement, experiencing garments through their bodies and spatial awareness.

US THE LESBIANS

Movement practice adapted for Us The Lesbians, a Barcelona-based immigrant collective focused on lesbian and bisexual experiences, welcoming women, non-binary, and trans-identifying participants. The session explored intimacy, presence, and self-expression through movement, connecting inner impulses to space, relational dynamics, and reflective writing.

A live set by Xyamm Angel, with ambient, dark, and introspective music, shaped the session, which culminated in a collective performance with 25 fully engaged attendees.

The class reflected the collective’s broad engagement, and highlighted the practice’s inclusivity and its power as a medium for community storytelling.
